The five seats that run the collective

Books are chosen, evenings are hosted and members are welcomed by people, not an algorithm. These are the seats, and what each one answers for.

Founder & Chief Reader

  • —Sets the reading philosophy and the annual calendar
  • —Chairs the opening circle of each season
  • —Approves every author and council addition personally
